Ancient Journeys is more than a gallery. It’s a 100% Indigenous-owned initiative, driven by the Gulf Regional Economic Aboriginal Trust (GREAT). We work directly with Aboriginal artists and art centres, ensuring fair payment through direct payment or royalties, in line with the Indigenous Art Code. We are especially proud to support emerging artists from the Lower Gulf communities of Normanton, Doomadgee, Burketown, and Mornington Island.
