Ceramic Shell Bowl with Hand-Painted Artwork by Cherelle Williams 18cm Diameter (Purples, Greens, Yellows & Black)

$165.00

This ceramic bowl has been hand-painted by Cherelle Williams, an Arrernte artist from Keringke Arts Aboriginal Art Centre in Ltyentye Apurte, Northern Territory. Measuring 18cm across, the piece is shaped with scalloped edges reminiscent of a shell, making it both distinctive and decorative.

Each ceramic piece from Keringke Arts Aboriginal Art Centre is hand-painted, featuring intricate dot paintings inspired by Aboriginal desert art. The design features a black mottled background brought to life with dot artworks in purples, greens, yellows and black, arranged in circular patterns. The result is a vibrant piece with striking colour contrasts and contemporary Aboriginal artistry.
