This 20cm x 20cm ceramic plate has been hand-painted by Jilary Lynch from Keringke Arts Aboriginal Art Centre in Ltyentye Apurte, Northern Territory. The square form provides the perfect surface for her soft, detailed design.
The top features a black base covered with rings of dot artwork in lilacs, peaches, greens and browns. Between the larger circular patterns, Jilary has added clusters of tiny white dots on the black background, creating a fine, speckled effect that lifts the whole piece and adds gentle texture. The colour mix is warm and harmonious, giving the design a calm and balanced feel. The underside is painted black and signed by the artist.
