This timber dancing board has been hand-painted in dot art style by an artist from Warlukurlangu Artists, one of Central Australia’s most well-known Aboriginal art centres. Painted in dot art with meeting place symbol artwork overlaid.

Dancing boards were traditionally held or carried during ceremonies to represent ancestral stories, spirit beings or Country. Today, these handmade pieces offer a striking and meaningful way to bring Aboriginal culture into the home.

Each board is unique, with vibrant acrylic colours and traditional patterns. Painted by hand, they have a rustic, expressive feel — a celebration of story, identity, and place.
