Description
These chunky timber clapsticks have been hand-painted by Bundjalung artist Pam Brandy Hall, whose vibrant dot work is inspired by the Dreamtime stories passed down from her grandmother. While Pam did not carve the wood herself, each set of clapsticks has been thoughtfully transformed into a decorative object through her detailed artwork.
Painted in her distinctive style, the wooden tips and body feature bright dot patterns that celebrate Aboriginal culture and connection to Country. At 22cm long and approximately 5cm in diameter, these clapsticks are ideal as a unique display piece, reflecting both tradition and contemporary expression.
Pam, who hails from Baryulgil in northern NSW, collaborates with Oz Aboriginal to bring her joyful and meaningful designs to life. Her work is a celebration of family, faith, and the storytelling power of Aboriginal art.
