Description
These chunky timber clapsticks are hand-painted by Bundjalung artist Pam Brandy Hall, featuring her signature dot work inspired by Dreamtime stories shared by her grandmother.
Traditionally used to keep rhythm during song and ceremony, clapsticks are a key musical instrument in Aboriginal culture.
Each side features a painted rectangular panel with dot designs, while the timber tips and the section between the artworks are left plain. The design is mirrored on both sides, creating a balanced and eye-catching look.
