Wild coconuts from the Daintree Rainforest are hand-harvested, and the oil is extracted through a fermentation process that enhances its nutrients and probiotic qualities. Kaizi learned the art of making coconut oil using traditional methods from his mother, who was taught by her grandmother, a Meriam woman from Murray Island (Mer) in Zenadh Kes (Torres Strait Islands).

Deeply connected to his culture, Kaizi is passionate about sharing traditional knowledge, particularly regarding Indigenous foods and their health benefits.
