Melanie Hava is a Mamu Aboriginal woman, from the Dugal-barra and Wari-barra family groups, in the Johnstone River catchment of Far North Queensland, Australia. Her work is influenced by her diverse cultures and experiences in the outback, rainforest and reef country.
