Nargula Jarndu Earrings with Helicopter Seed Design by C Djiagween
Hand Made in Australia

Nagula Jarndu Earrings with Helicopter Seed Design by C Djiagween

$55.00

These striking earrings honour the late Mrs C. Djiagween, an esteemed Yawuru and Jabirr Jabirr Elder and one of the founding members of Nagula Jarndu. With her family’s blessing, her artistic legacy continues to be celebrated through her beautiful designs.

Inspired by the helicopter seeds found across the Kimberley, these earrings capture the playful joy of watching the seeds spin gracefully to the ground. The design features a bamboo wood top with a gold mirror acrylic main piece. The reverse side is a soft grey with delicate white etching, offering a subtle contrast.

Measuring approximately 7cm in length, these earrings are lightweight, comfortable, and perfect for everyday wear. Made with stainless steel, nickel-free findings, they combine thoughtful craftsmanship with a nod to cultural heritage.

Nagula Jarndu, meaning “Saltwater Woman,” is an Indigenous women-led arts and textiles enterprise based in Broome, Western Australia. It empowers Aboriginal women to create handcrafted works that reflect their stories and connection to the land and sea.
